This research aims to analyze the influence of company size, board of directors and leverage on sustainability report disclosure with profitability as a moderating variable in LQ45 companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research is quantitative research with a causal nature and data collection techniques obtained through the annual reports of LQ45 companies listed on the IDX for the 2018-2022 period. The population in this research is the LQ45 companies on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), totaling 21 companies. The sampling technique in this research is the purposive sampling method. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis and moderated regression analysis. The research results show that company size has no effect on sustainability report disclosure. The board of directors has a positive and significant influence on sustainability report disclosure. Leverage has a positive and significant effect on sustainability report disclosure. Profitability is not able to moderate the influence of company size on sustainability report disclosure. Profitability is able to moderate the influence of the board of directors on sustainability report disclosure. Profitability is able to moderate the influence of leverage on sustainability report disclosure.

Analisis Pengungkapan Informasi Penerapan Reklamasi Pascatambang dalam Laporan Keberlanjutan Berdasarkan Ketentuan Peraturan Menteri ESDM No. 07 Tahun 2014

Mining is an activity that utilizes and manages natural resources to meet human needs. In the mining sector, if the mining process is not managed well, mining activities can cause environmental damage such as the decline in soil and water conditions on mining land, disruption of biodiversity, and disruption of social, cultural and economic life in the surrounding community. In this case, mining companies need to carry out post-mining reclamation to reduce the impact of environmental damage. Post-mining reclamation activities need to be disclosed by the company in the sustainability report. This research aims to determine the analysis of disclosure of information on the implementation of post-mining reclamation in the 2021 sustainability report and analyze the suitability of the disclosure based on the provisions of Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Regulation No. 07 of 2014 (articles 12&16). This research was conducted on coal mining companies that were listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2021. The total sample taken was 34 company units selected using a non-probability sampling technique, namely Purposive Sampling. Based on the criteria created, 13 mining companies were selected and then content analysis and scoring techniques would be carried out based on the criteria in the regulations used. The results of the research analysis show that the disclosure of post-mining reclamation information is still less than optimal/maximum. Based on the established criteria, the average suitability of information disclosure is still quite low, in the range of 45-50%. Thus, mining companies must remain consistent in publishing sustainability reports and need to increase the suitability of disclosure of post-mining reclamation activities in accordance with applicable regulations. For further research, more variables, company sectors and regulatory references should be used to analyze the disclosure of a company's sustainability report.
  

Analysis of Sustainability Reporting Disclosure Based on the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Standards

This study aims to provide empirical evidence regarding the disclosure of PT Astra Internasional Tbk Jakarta's sustainability report for 2020-2021. This research uses quantitative qualitative research methods. Data obtained from the results of the sustainability report of PT Astra International Tbk Jakarta. Data analysis uses content analysis. The results of the analysis show that sustainability reports are company reports that convey information regarding the economic, environmental and social performance of a company's actions. Disclosure standards for business sustainability reports that use the Global Reporting Standards (GRI) standard should consist of general disclosure series (100 series) to specific disclosure series (200, 300, 400 series) to ensure that stakeholders receive consistent information during the decision-making process.  

PERAN SUSTAINABILITY MEMEDIASI PENGARUH DEWAN KOMISARIS TERHADAP KINERJA KEUANGAN

This research empirically tests the direct and indirect influence of the number of board of commissioners on financial performance with the sustainability report (SR) as a mediating variable. The research sample was 157 data obtained from manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange and disclosed sustainability reports for the 2019-2021 period. Hypothesis testing uses path analysis. The test results show that the number of board of commissioners and sustainability reports do not directly influence financial performance, while the number of board of commissioners directly influences the disclosure of sustainability report. Sustainability reports cannot mediate the influence of the number of board of commissioners on financial performance, because SR is still voluntary so not many companies disclose it

The Impact of Stakeholders Pressure on Sustainability Report Disclosure

The purpose of the study to analyze how stakeholder demand impact sustainable reports disclosure. Factors that can influence social and environmental responsibility disclosure policies are exposure to the media, shareholders, employees, and the government. The population of study consisted of manufacturing companies that were listed between 2020 and 2022 on the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX). Researcher using the purposive sampling technique to choose the sample, and criteria included listing of the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) in 2020–2022, publishing sustainability reports during the fiscal year, and having data processed. 231 imbalanced observational data point and 106 corporate samples made up the final sample. The study's secondary data collection shows the sustainability report and an annual report that are available on the official website of each corporation. The results show that these companies are currently only disclosing 58,2% of the mandatory sustainability reports. The study's findings demonstrate that media coverage significantly improves the disclosure of sustainability reports.

PENGUNGKAPAN SUSTAINABILITY REPORT PADA PERUSAHAAN SUB SEKTOR JASA PENYEDIA KESEHATAN DAN SUB SEKTOR FARMASI

Purpose : This research aims to empirically test the influence of profitability and company size on the disclosure of Sustainability Reports in companies in the health sector, the health services provider sub-sector and the pharmaceutical sub-sector listed on the Indonesian stock exchange in 2018 - 2022.  Design/methodology/approach : The population of this research is 30 health sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sample selection method in this research is based on sampling with predetermined criteria. In this case, the sample studied was 11 companies. The Analysis technique used to test the hypothesis is multiple regression analysis using Eviews 9 software Findings : The results of this research show that profitability has a negative and statistically insignificant effect on Sustainability Report disclosure, but for Company Size it has a positive and statistically insignificant effect on Sustainability Report disclosure. Originality/value : This research discusses the influence of profitability and company size on Sustainability Reporting in health sector companies

Company Value: The Role of Sustainability Report Disclosure, Good Corporate Governance Disclosure, and Environmental Performance

This study aims to analyze the effect of Sustainability Report disclosures, Good Corporate Governance disclosures, and environmental performance on firm value. The population of this study is all companies listed on the IDX in 2017-2020. The sample was selected using the purposive sampling method for 2017-2020. The analysis technique used to test the hypotheses proposed in this study is by using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study show that Disclosure of Sustainability Reports, Good Corporate Governance, and environmental performance have a significant positive effect on firm value. This research contributes to giving confidence to stakeholders in assessing the company.

Analisis Penerapan Indikator Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) Pada Laporan Tahunan dan Laporan Keberlanjutan Perusahaan Pertanian

Purpose: The purpose of this study is to analyze the level of disclosure of GRI indicators in sustainability reports for agricultural companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, analyze differences in the level of disclosure of GRI indicators in sustainability reports for agricultural companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014 and 2020, and analyze the effect of size, profitability, and the size of the board of commissioners on the disclosure of sustainability reports on agricultural companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Methodology/approach: The research was conducted on agricultural companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange using purposive sampling, with the criteria being registered during the 2014 - 2020 period, publishing financial reports for the 2014 and 2020 periods, and publishing annual reports for the 2014 and 2020 periods. Data analysis used the descriptive method, content analysis, paired sample t-test, and multiple linear regression. Findings: The results of the study show that the level of disclosure of GRI indicators in the sustainability reports of agricultural companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014 was 33.4%, while in 2020 it was 51.1%. There is a significant difference in the level of GRI indicator disclosure in the sustainability reports of agricultural companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2014 and 2020. Profitability and board size have a significant positive effect on sustainability report disclosure in agricultural companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange, but company size has no effect. Practical and Theoretical Contribution/Originality: The difference between this study and previous studies is that it compares the level of disclosure in 2014 with 2020, where 2014 was the year when the GRI index began to be used. Research Limitation: The variables used are still limited to indicators in financial reports. For further research, certification variables in the agricultural sector can be added.

CORPORATE GOVERNANCE AND FINANCIAL PERFORMANCE: A CASE STUDY IN THE PHARMACEUTICAL SECTOR IN MALAYSIA

The introduction of the Malaysian Code of Corporate Governance has been progressively updated since its inception in the year 2000 and the latest update in the year 2021, proves that the government of Malaysia has been serious in regulating to ensure that the companies in Malaysia have been compliant with good corporate governance practices. Observing that it is an evergreen issue and to have more updated research, this study evaluates factors that could influence the effectiveness of corporate governance of five pharmaceutical companies listed in Malaysia and its relationship with the financial performance for the period of 2017 - 2021. The methodologies that have been employed for this study are descriptive statistics, non-parametric correlations, scatter plots and regression linear. The findings reveal that variables of board size, board independence, and disclosure of sustainability reports have correlations with the financial performance measured by the return on assets. However, the disclosure of sustainability reports is the only variable that has a significant correlation with ROA whereas board size and board independence do not possess similar relationships. For a better representation of the results’ precision and robust findings, it is recommended to have a longer study period than five years and a larger sample size by extending it to other sectors.

Analysis of Sustainability Report Disclosure and Sustainability Performance in Energy, Oil, and Gas Cluster BUMN Companies

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis pengungkapan Sustainability Report (SR) dan kinerja keberlanjutan pada PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (Persero) dan PT Pertamina (Persero). Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif deskriptif. Variabel yang diteliti meliputi Sustainability Report dan kinerja keberlanjutan. Hasil dari penelitian tersebut menunjukkan bahwa tingkat pengungkapan Sustainability Report (SR) PT Perusahaan Listrik Negara (PLN) dan PT Pertamina menunjukkan peningkatan yang positif. PT PLN mencatat peningkatan dari 84% pada tahun 2021 menjadi 88% pada tahun 2022. Sementara itu, PT Pertamina mencatat peningkatan dari 88% pada tahun 2021 menjadi 100% pada tahun 2022. Peningkatan ini mencerminkan komitmen dan upaya perusahaan dalam meningkatkan transparansi dan akuntabilitas terkait keberlanjutan. Penelitian ini menambah pengetahuan tentang pengungkapan SR dan kinerja keberlanjutan pada BUMN klaster energi, minyak dan gas. Hasil penelitian ini dapat meningkatkan kesadaran perusahaan akan pentingnya keberlanjutan. Perusahaan dapat menyadari bahwa kinerja keberlanjutan dapat meningkatkan reputasi perusahaan dan meningkatkan kepercayaan dari pemangku kepentingan.

Influence of Financial Performance, Company Size and Company Age on Disclosure of Sustainability Reports in Non-Financial Companies on IDX 2019-2021

Most companies prioritize the interests of shareholders, while other parties do not receive special attention. In these conditions, many business world phenomena often ignore environmental and social problems. To support this problem, a concept is needed. This concept is called a sustainability report. The aims of this research is to analyze the influence of financial performances, firm size, and company age on the disclosure of non-financial companies' sustainability reports. This research uses a quantitative data in the form of secondary data: financial reports of companies obtained from the IDX. The sample was selected using purposive sampling method and the sample for this research includes 10 companies. This hypothesis testing uses multiple linear regression tests using SPSS version 26 software. The partial test results show that profitability has an influence on sustainability report disclosure, while firm size and company age do not influence sustainability report disclosure.

Mapping the emergence of the theme of corruption in the area of corporate governance: a bibliometric review of the literature

Objective: Despite the evident theoretical importance of corporate governance as a mechanism for controlling corrupt practices, as far as we know there are no review articles that relate these themes. In this sense, the objective of this article is to map the emergence and evolution of corruption in the area of corporate governance and present the state of the art and trends in future studies on these topics.
 Method: This article is a bibliometric review, it is a statistical analysis method that provides a quantitative understanding of the academic literature on a given scientific field. The bibliometric techniques used are cocotation analysis and bibliographic matching analysis. In other words, we sought to understand the theoretical roots and identify the frontiers of knowledge.
 Results: In the co-citation analysis, 4 theoretical clusters (theoretical bases) were identified and in the pairing, 6 theoretical clusters (frontiers of knowledge) were identified. It is clear from the graphic mappings that current research (frontiers) has more congruence between the different themes, while the research that forms the theoretical bases is more idiosyncratic.
 Originality/Relevance: As far as we know, this is one of the first articles to store knowledge about corruption in the area of corporate governance and cluster it into theoretical bases and boundaries.
 Theoretical/methodological contributions: The pairing analysis identified the following main topics in vogue: Disclosure of sustainability reports; Institutional Theories; Political connections; Corporate Governance Control Mechanisms; National culture; Foreign investments; Organizational performance; Financial paper; Factors determining bribery; and role of national and international regulatory agencies.

Pengaruh Good Corporate Governance dan Financial Distress Terhadap Pengungkapan Laporan Keberlanjutan

The purpose of this study is to ascertain how audit committee size, board of directors size, independent commissioner size, and financial distress affect the disclosure of sustainability reports. The companies in the infrastructure sector listed on the IDX between 2020 and 2022 are the subject of this study. Purposive sampling was utilized in this study to choose the sample according to predetermined standards. The panel regression approach is used to process the data. The findings indicated that the size of the audit committee significantly impacted sustainability report disclosure, the size of the board of directors had no bearing on sustainability report disclosure, the size of independent commissioners significantly impacted sustainability report disclosure, and financial distress had no bearing on sustainability report disclosure. The study's findings suggest that businesses should disclose more about sustainability because the topic will be brought up more and more in the future.

PENGARUH SUSTAINABILITY REPORT DENGAN GOOD CORPORATE GOVERNANCE TERHADAP KINERJA PERUSAHAAN

The Effect of Sustainability Report with Good Corporate Governance on Company Performance. Disclosure of sustainability reports provides added value for companies, however because there are still inconsistencies in research results, to reduce research bias the GCG mechanism is used as a moderating variable. Sustainability reports must be equipped with three main aspects, namely economic, social and environmental. GCG is a guideline that must be met by companies in operating so that the company operates in accordance with stakeholder needs. This research uses 30 companies observed in the manufacturing sector for the 2020-2022 period. The data analysis technique used is MRA. The research results show that of the four GCG mechanisms, only two are able to moderate the direct influence relationship, namely the board of commissioners and foreign ownership, while the board of directors and managerial ownership are unable to moderate this direct relationship.

Pengaruh Kepemilikan Manajerial, Kepemilikan Asing, dan Likuiditas terhadap Pengungkapan Laporan Keberlanjutan

The purpose of this study is to analyze and test the influence of managerial ownership, foreign ownership, and liquidity on the disclosure of sustainability reporting, this study was conducted on non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2020-2021. The purposive sampling method was used as a sampling technique with 52 selected companies from all non-financial companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2020-2021. The data is processed by regression analysis of panel data with the Eviews 12 program. The results of this study show that foreign ownership and liquidity have a significant effect on the disclosure of sustainability reports. While managerial ownership has no effect whatsoever on the disclosure of sustainability reports.

Pengaruh Kepemilikan Manajerial, Media Visibility dan Umur Perusahaan terhadap Pengungkapan Sustainability Report pada Perusahaan yang Terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia Tahun 2018 – 2022

The primary objective of this study is to investigate how sustainability report disclosure is influence by factors such as managerial ownership, media visibility, and the age of the company. The study relies on data extracted from annual and sustainability reports of firms that are publicly listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the years 2018 to 2022. The research employs purposive sampling, involving the selection of 45 companies within the 2018-2022 time frame. To test the hypotheses, the study utilizes multiple linear regression analysis. The research findings indicate that managerial ownership significantly enhances sustainability report disclosure, media visibility has no discernible impact on sustainability report disclosure, and company age has a noteworthy positive effect on sustainability report disclosure.

The Effect of Disclosure on Sustainability Reporting, Company Size, Profitability and Leverage on The Value of Companies Included in The LQ45 Index For 2020-2022

This study aims to empirically prove the influence of sustainability report disclosure, company size, profitability and leverage on company value. This research is quantitative research using secondary data obtained from the company's annual report and the company's sustainability reporting report. The population in this study are companies that are members of the LQ45 index from 2020-2022. The number of samples used in this research was 51 data. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis with the software used for data processing is SPSS version 25. Based on the results of the analysis it is known that simultaneously the sustainability report disclosure variables, company size, profitability and leverage influence company value, while partially the variables Sustainability report disclosure, company size, profitability and leverage have a significant effect on company value

Evidence of sustainable development goals disclosure in publicly traded Brazilian companies

Purpose: This article examines if publicly traded Brazilian companies listed on the Brazil 50 Index (IBrX50) and the Corporate Sustainability Index (ISE) use Sustainable Development Goals to guide their environmental, social, and governance practices (ESG).
 Methodology: The evaluation is carried out through the descriptive content analysis of companies listed on the IBrX50. We highlight that they were also listed on the ISE B3 in the year 2022. Data was gathered from the companies’ sustainability reports and on websites specialized in ESG assessments.
 Results: The research presents analogies between the ISE B3 and the IBrX50 theoretical portfolios while analyzing the assets in their portfolios and ESG scores. We additionally look into the proximity of the assets in relation to the disclosure of the Sustainable Development Goals in their sustainability reports. We found that, although most companies publish sustainability reports and mention the SDGs, few disclose the goals and initiatives aimed at sustainable development practically.
 Contributions of the Study: The article contributes to the field of research on the voluntary disclosure of information on sustainability. It presents an initial overview on SDGs disclosure in sustainability reports within the Brazilian context. Future studies may explore analyzes which include ESG practices in companies.

Các nhân tố ảnh hưởng đến công bố báo cáo bền vững của các doanh nghiệp phi tài chính niêm yết trên thị trường chứng khoán Việt Nam

A sustainability report is considered a tool that can help enterprises measure, disclose, explain, and commit responsibility for sustainable development to stakeholders. This article uses panels data, cross sectional data and time series data, figures out factors which affect the disclosure of the 253 non-financial enterprises listed on Vietnam stock market in the period 2020-2022. It also finds out 2 new ones called audited by BIG 4 and listing time apart from 4 factors: profitability, firm size, the frequency of the Audit committee, gender of leader; listing time is the only one to have a negative impact on the publication of this report. Research result is a base to consider improving legal regulations of the disclosure of sustainability reports, related parties to help stakeholders make the right decisions
